State of Affairs

I am really scared about the state of affairs in this country. Even people and organizations that are powerful and financially stable are struggling to stay alive. Some of them are even failing. Bear Stearns is proof of that. In the long run this will have a big effect on the hourly worker. The person who struggles to make ends meet every week will see the effects first.

If you work in the entertainment industry, such as; a restaurant or movie theater, you will see it first. Eating out is usually the first to go. People cut things out first. Dental care is another thing that sometimes is eliminated when times get tough. People may lose their jobs or get their hours cut. It is also harder to find part time jobs to subsidize the lack of income from your primary job.

There are a lot more people looking for answers to financial problems. Credit counseling and debt settlement companies are growing in number and are doing a booming business. Foreclosures are at an all time high. I am fortunate in the respect that I believe my job is secure and I also have a part time income, but I still can’t help feel a little uneasy as I watch the news everyday.

These payments will be tacked on to the end of the loan. This gives the homeowner a chance to regroup and get back on their feet. Sometimes this all a person needs to get back on track-a few months to get caught up on things. You will see more people using forbearance as way to keep their homes from going into foreclosure.
