Running Errands for Cash

Sunday, September 30th, 2007

With the fast paced lifestyles that many Americans lives these days, time is short and we may not have time for everything. Many busy professionals and small businesses are in the market for people to run their errands. These people may need groceries, gifts for loved ones or their dry cleaning picked up and that is where you can help.

Starting an errand running business will not take much as far as startup cost. You will need reliable transportation and a computer for accounting purposes. The most difficult part will be building a client base. Word-of-mouth is the best. You may want to try dropping off business cards at the location of prospective clients or mailing brochures to them.

You may also consider advertising to the elderly or assisted living homes. There are a lot of options for this type of business. It just takes some thought and planning.
